Accessory Report: Neckerchiefs

The accessory is the perfect transitional piece to try now. It’s lightweight enough for cool summer days and an ideal add-on for a layered fall look.

Similar Essential: Kenzo Navy Eye Foulard Scarf ($255)

neckerchief-OliviaPalermoOlivia Palermo: The tastemaker bundled up for a chilly June day in NYC with help from a Zara polka-dot scarf paired with a nude sweater.

Similar Essential: Madewell Dotted Scarf ($50)

neckerchief-RodarteRodarte F/W 13: For fall, Kate and Laura Mulleavy favored high necklines, drawing attention to the conservative silhouette with the addition of the Nude Satin Scarf.

Similar Essential: Burberry London Check Print Scarf ($344)

neckerchief-GeorgiaJaggerGeorgia Jagger: The model substituted a navy blue bandana for a necklace, giving her low-key look a home-on-the-range spin.

On Trend: Beanies

Personally I have always liked Beanies. I wear them every winter when it is freezing in New England.

Now they are on Trend for Fall 2012 and have been spotted on celebrities, off duty models, and on the Runway at Fashion week. I am sure most of you have one or a few of these already. Maybe from Christmas last year that you have not worn yet or a home made one from your grandmother? Well dig them out of your winter wardrobe and wear them this fall. Rock them with your go-to skinny jeans or make heads turn by adding this accessory to a long sleeve mini dress and sky high booties!

Don’t have a beanie and don’t want to splurge on one? Get the look for Less with my picks. Click on Beanie Below to buy it!
